Now, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I came back to the studio after the long holiday weekend to find that every business that possibly had my email address, sent out a "Labor Day" promo email. Almost 900 (mainly junk) emails later, I actually get to "get to work". It's super frustrating. I like to hear from vendors occasionally, but it won't take too many more days of promo like this, before I'm going on an inbox witch hunt, where many of these vendors will be going straight to my junk email folder. This is the main reason why I've personally chosen not to send out "advertising" emails. Now on the other end of the spectrum... I've also heard that clients would like a more efficient way than FB to keep in touch, so when there are special promotions and charity events, they can be informed of them. So, where is that happy medium? Just curious as this was fresh on my mind after this morning's email frenzy...
